Esmaeil Porsa
Esmaeil Porsa, MD, MPH, CCHP-P, CCHP-A, has been named executive vice president and chief strategy and integration officer at the Dallas-based Parkland Health & Hospital System. In this new role, Porsa will collaboratively lead efforts to improve the integration of care delivery systems, including ambulatory, acute- and post-acute care. Improving coordination of care across all of Parkland’s services is a critical area of focus and will lead to improved outcomes and efficiency while also improving the experience for patients and providers. He most recently served as Parkland’s interim chief medical officer. Prior to that, he was senior vice president for Academic and Professional Affairs and associate chief medical officer at Parkland. In addition, he served as Parkland’s medical director for Adult Medical Services for Jail Health, where he was responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of the Dallas County Jail’s inmate population.
