Duncan Griffin

HDR announced the hiring of Duncan Griffin, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, as a sustainable principal. He will work with clients to help create sustainable solutions aligned with their enterprise goals. Griffin is a lean-certified practitioner with nearly 25 years of experience. He has recently managed initiatives on more than 1.3 million square feet of hospital and clinic projects, often engages in project design modeling for energy efficiency, and worked with the Integrated Design Lab (UW) and Solarc in Seattle to research ideal solutions for energy reduction in hospitals. Griffin is dedicated to achieving successful outcomes that include health experiences for patients/staff, flexible, fiscally responsive infrastructure and facilities that serve the community by minimizing resource impacts, including water, energy and carbon emissions.
