Boon Lim
Global design firm Stantec recently added Boon Lim to the firm’s growing Los Angeles office as a principal. His addition further strengthens Stantec’s position in the California Healthcare market and helps solidify its expertise in delivering large, complex healthcare projects.
Throughout Lim’s 30-plus year career in Healthcare and bio-medical architecture, he has provided critical leadership and creative solutions for public, institutional, and corporate clients, both domestic and abroad. He has led overall project management—including scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and receivables—on some of the largest Healthcare projects in California and around the globe.
Lim’s past experience includes leadership roles on the 2 million-square-foot Providence Saint John’s Health Center Phase II Master Plan in Santa Monica, the HEI Center for Molecular Medicine in Los Angeles, Baxter BioScience LAMP Projects, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and the Beijing International Medical Center, where he led strategic facility planning alongside top local government officials. Lim is multilingual and fluent in English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Malay.
