M. Joan Petillo

HGA has welcomed M. Joann Petillo as associate vice president in business development in its Alexandria, Va., and Washington, D.C., offices. She will manage client relations and new business opportunities for the Healthcare and Arts/Community/Higher Education market sectors.

Petillo has extensive business development, strategic planning, client relations and marketing experience focused on higher education, institutional, healthcare, and transportation markets.

Before joining HGA, she was a Senior Vice President and Firm Wide Market Pursuit Leader for Schnabel Engineering in Baltimore, where she led business development teams across regional offices and increased revenue through major client wins. She is a graduate of Leadership Maryland Class of 2019, an eight-month professional development program focused on addressing social, economic, and environmental issues in the State of Maryland. She is past president of the the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Maryland.

Petillo has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Maryland.
