David Lopez

Parkland Health & Hospital System has named David Lopez as the permanent Executive Chief Operating Officer (COO) after serving as the interim COO for almost four months. Much of his career has been spent working in public health systems and he shows a commitment to the public health care mission in Texas. Lopez served as COO for four years and CEO for nine years for the Harris County Hospital District in Houston. He holds as Masters of Science in health care administration and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
