CHICAGO — Cook County Department of Corrections in Chicago unveiled its new Residential Treatment Unit (RTU) in June. The RTU is part of the Cook County Jail’s 276,450-square-foot addition project built to accommodate a growing jail population. The five-story facility is seeking LEED Silver certification.
