Ceiling Trim
Armstrong Ceiling & Wall Systems added 14-inch and 16-inch high profiles to its family of Axiom Classic Perimeter ceiling trim. The new profiles are one-piece extrusions that eliminate the need to stack shorter profiles to attain the height dimension and eliminates any visible seam. Designed for straight applications, the new profiles can be used with suspended lay-in ceiling panels as an exposed decorative trim or as drywall trim for unique detailing and transition flexibility. They are compatible with all Armstrong exposed tee suspension systems and drywall grid systems.
The company’s expanded portfolio of trim options is designed for easy, cost-effective design solutions for a range of appellations, including “floating” ceiling clouds, entry accents, open corridors, stepped soffits, drapery pockets, and ceiling transitions.
The trim is offered in a variety of standard colors, all of which coordinate with Armstrong ceiling and grid systems, as well as custom colors. All Axiom Classic trim is manufactured from extruded aluminum to provide crisp edge detailing, more precise registry of trim elements, and excellent corrosion resistance compared to roll-formed steel systems, according to the company.
