Space-Efficient Seating
Nemschoff recently unveiled its Steps line, a transitional seating solution to accommodate waiting area designs. In collaboration with Brian Kane of Kane Design Studio, Nemschoff developed the unit’s flexible design to allow a sense of peace to patients and their visitors, according to the company.
Steps also makes use of sections to form serpentine and in-line forms, and creates boundaries within open spaces to accommodate various seating areas, providing creativity and space efficiency. Steps also includes furnishing options of varying heights – from high-back seating solutions to flat benches – to allow areas of openness and/or privacy. Featuring the Nemschoff Performance Fabric Collection, Steps’ design embodies the convergence of residential, hospitality, and spa aesthetics with the strict requirements of healthcare, according to the company.
