Alyssa Scholz

HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) hired Alyssa Scholz, IIDA, in July as principal and director of interior design in California. She will build the firm’s interior design services across the health care, higher education and public/corporate practice groups for the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento offices. Scholz has more than 20 years of interior design experience nationally. Her expertise includes user experience design and research, design visioning, full-service interior design and FF&E implementation as well as sustainable strategies. She has a Bachelor of Science in design from Arizona State University. She is a member of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). She is also a board member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo.
