Indiana Health Facility Wraps Revamp

ANDERSON, Ind.—Noblesville-based Aspire Indiana Health recently reopened its Bolin clinic in Anderson following a $1.35 million renovation that began earlier in 2019, reported Inside Indiana Business. The renovated building, which is located at 2009 Brown St., will house the healthcare facility’s pharmacy as well as its primary medical care facilities.
During the renovation, services for patients were temporarily relocated from the building at 2009 Brown St. to other nearby buildings also owned by Aspire, according to the Inside Indiana Business report. This enabled the healthcare professionals working for Aspire to continue seeing patients without any interruption of service when the renovation work was underway.
Building Indiana Business also reported that Genoa Healthcare, who has acted as Aspire’s pharmacy partner, will also have an expanded presence in the redesigned facility. This will include their own entrance directly from the street into their offices.
During the renovations, Aspire was treating some patients at the nearby Hoak Building, located at 215 W. 19th St. Building Indiana Business said that Aspire will commence rescheduling those patients at the newer Bolin clinic as soon as feasible.
Building Indiana Business also cited Barbara Scott, Aspire president and CEO, as saying that the redesigned Bolin facility will be better able to provide “whole health” care for the company’s patients. Scott said that the investment in the Bolin facility showcases the healthcare provider’s committment to Madison County’s people.
Anderson is the seat of Madison County, and is known as the home for the Christian-affiliated Anderson University, which offers pre-medical school courses in such subfields as physical and occupational therapy, dentistry, chiropractic and optometry, according to the school’s website.
Although the renovations were completed in December, Aspire has not yet “officially” opened up the space to the public. Inside Indiana Business reports that Aspire will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Bolin project sometime in the first few months of the new year.
