Ross Spiegel
Ross Spiegel, FAIA, FCSI, CCS, CCCA, LEED® AP, BD+C, a resident of Milford, Conn., is a specifications coordinator for SLAM and was recently elected chair of the Connecticut Green Building Council (CTGBC) Board of Directors for 2020. He will serve a one-year term. Long an active member of CTGBC, Spiegel is in his third term on the Board and previously served as the Chapter’s secretary and Vice Chair. He has also served as the Chapter’s Advocacy Committee Chair for the past eight years.
As Chair, Ross will lead the CTGBC Board in expanding its advocacy efforts while simultaneously growing its training and education programs to reach more members of the design and construction industry. At the same time CTGBC will continue to actively support the efforts of state government to address climate change and net zero energy.
The Connecticut Green Building Council (CTGBC) is a 200-member organization and serves as a chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), which covers the State of Connecticut. CTGBC is committed to transforming the way buildings and communities are designed, built, and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous Connecticut and improved quality of life for all.
