Reed Selected for Chicago Medical Center Project
CHICAGO — Reed Construction’s Healthcare Group has been selected to complete a renovation within the radiology department at the University of Chicago Medical Center’s Bernard A. Mitchell Hospital. The general contractor with offices in the Windy City was selected to renovate an area within the hospital’s radiology department. The renovations will accommodate the installation of an uninterrupted power supply system designed to provide back-up power to the department’s three CT Scanners.
The project is expected to take six weeks with a completion date set for December 2010 and will be headed up by Nicholas Siorek, project manager for Reed’s Healthcare Group.
PFB Architects, with offices in Chicago and Cincinnati, is providing the architectural services for the project.
