CAPE CORAL, Fla.—Stevens Construction, Inc. has been awarded the construction management service of a new 5,200-square-foot building for Kari Mann Dental Studio, located at 3111 Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral, announced Daniel F. Adams Jr., executive vice president/partner.

Kari Mann Dental Studio provides comprehensive family and cosmetic dentistry as well as advanced dental implants. Combined with their unique approach to ease dental anxiety, this modern building signifies a step towards elevating patient care and comfort. Slated for completion in early 2025, the facility will feature eight treatment rooms, promises cutting-edge technology and space dedicated to advanced surgical and implant treatments. 

The remaining 2,030 square feet of the Gulf-access building is available for lease via LandQuest Commercial.  

The Stevens Construction team includes Project Manager Logan Holley, Superintendent Matt Aldape and Project Administrator Angie Sugg. Southview Studios, LLC is the architect of record. Quattrone & Associates is the civil engineer.

ESTERO, Fla.—Stevens Construction has completed construction management services for Lee Health University Highlands, located at 19511 Highland Oaks Drive in Estero, announced Dan Adams, vice president/principal, Stevens Construction, Inc.

Stevens Construction completed a two-story, 20,820-square-foot primary care office and outpatient center for South Real Estate Group, who is leasing the building to Lee Health.  Located on the first floor, the outpatient center houses diagnostic imaging such as ultrasound, X-Ray and women’s health services such as mammogram and DEXA scanning. The outpatient center also includes a lab draw station and an adult physical therapy clinic. The second floor is a full scope family medicine practice, which will grow to a total of 10 providers.

Providing cutting-age aesthetics, hormone optimization and wellness for men and women in Southwest Florida, The Med Spa is a regeneration destination with multiple rooms for injectables, consultation, laser, facial and IV treatments. Accented by luxurious interior finishes, The Med Spa also has offices, break room with kitchenette, storage and restrooms.

The Stevens Construction team includes Project Manager Mark Pelafas, Superintendent Rich McDonald and Project Administrator Gina Varner. PDS Architecture is the architect of record and interior design is being provided by Michele Pelafas, Inc.

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.—Stevens Construction has finished the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Cancer Clinic at the Bonita Health Center, located at 3501 Health Center Blvd., Bonita Springs, announced Daniel Adams, Stevens Construction executive vice president.

The 17, 372-square-foot renovation houses an infusion center with 32 infusion chairs, four private infusion rooms, offices, serenity room, lab and nurse station. The project also includes an oncology outpatient clinic with ten exam rooms, phlebotomy, pharmacy, laboratory and offices. During the multi-phase project, the 41, 850-square-foot Bonita Health Center remained in operation.

The Stevens Construction project team consisted of superintendent Eric Mitchell and project administrators Sue Ziegenfus and Maria Bartolome Sica. The project was designed by Studio+.

FORT MYERS, Fla.—Surgical Healing Arts Center, Metro Alliance Surgery Center and Stevens Construction celebrated the beginning of construction of a new two-story, 20,764-square-foot medical office building and ambulatory surgery center in Fort Myers with a groundbreaking Feb. 23 at 6201 Alliance Lane. The project is slated for completion in early 2024.

The first floor will house Surgical Healing Arts Center, which specializes in medical and surgical weight loss, advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgery, revisional bariatric surgery, adolescent bariatric surgery, complex hernia repair, body-contouring surgery after weight loss, anti-reflux surgery, weight management services and a wide variety of general surgery. The center will include Surgical Healing Arts Center’s first wound-care center with hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, which promotes faster healing and offers additional recovery benefits to patients. The space will include patient exam rooms, offices, conference rooms and scheduling.

“This is an exciting endeavor for our team as we work to expand our service offerings and provide added conveniences and cost savings to our patients,” said Moses K. Shieh, D.O., FACOS, founder of Surgical Healing Arts Center. “The ability to access all of our services under one roof, in addition to new wound-healing technologies, will play an impactful role for our patients on their journeys to happier, healthier lives.”

The second floor will house Metro Alliance Surgery Center, a soon-to-be AAAHC-accredited and AHCA-licensed surgery center for general and bariatric surgical solutions that promotes greater efficiency, cost-savings and an environment of recovery for patients who seek elective surgical procedures outside of the traditional hospital setting. The surgery center will house three operating rooms, a special procedure room, endoscopic procedures, sterilization, pre- and post-operation recovery, two overnight beds for 23-hour observation, nurse stations, locker rooms, lounge and storage.

FORT MYERS, Fla.—Stevens Construction’s special projects division has completed an expansion of Neuropsychiatric Research Center (NPRC) located at 14271 Metropolis Ave. in Fort Myers, announced Joe Cimilluca, special projects division manager, Stevens Construction, Inc.

Stevens Construction provided an interior renovation and expansion of NPRC’s existing operations in a two-phase project, allowing NPRC to seamlessly continue serving patients and provide clinical research while construction occurred. Completed in 16 weeks, Stevens Construction combined two adjacent units into one 6,333-square-foot facility with all-new finishes, including flooring, drywall, doors, cabinetry, countertops and plumbing.

The Stevens Construction team included project executive, Joe Cimilluca; project manager, Gio Cardet; and project administrator, Norma Cimilluca. The project was designed by PK Studios.

Stevens Construction launched a special projects division in 2018 to serve projects ranging from $500,000 and under. Special projects include tenant improvements, additions, renovations, repairs and specialty projects.

FORT MYERS, Fla.—Stevens Construction has completed the 60,000-square-foot, two-story Frantz EyeCare and Frantz Cosmetic Center located at 9617 Gulf Research Lane, announced Dan Adams, vice president/principal, Stevens Construction, Inc.

Designed to promote staff efficiency and overall patient experience, Frantz EyeCare offers 44 exam lanes, diagnostic center, retail, LASIK suite and a cosmetic treatment center. The second floor houses Frantz EyeCare’s corporate offices, employee training, a conference room and space available for lease.

Frantz EyeCare will also provide the future home to Suncoast Surgery Center, an AHCA-licensed surgery center with four operating rooms and four laser suites slated to open in June.

The Stevens Construction team worked in preconstruction for 10 months prior to construction starting, providing due diligence on the project site, budgeting, constructability reviews and cost-savings suggestions to ensure Frantz EyeCare’s budget, schedule and quality goals were achieved.

FORT MYERS, Fla.—Stevens Construction has started construction of Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida, announced Dan Adams, vice president/principal, Stevens Construction, Inc.

Slated for completion in summer 2023, Orthopedic Specialists is expanding operations with the construction of a new 60,000-square-foot, two-story medical office building and corporate headquarters.

Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida will house 60 exam rooms, two MRI suites, six procedure rooms, six X-Ray rooms, nurse stations, offices, conference rooms, support services and an expanded physical and occupational therapy department to serve patients with musculoskeletal needs.

Stevens Construction provided two years of preconstruction services, assisting Orthopedic Specialists with site and design team selection, budgeting and providing cost savings suggestions throughout the design to ensure the project achieved budget and schedule goals.

The Stevens Construction team includes project manager, Jon Zander; superintendent, Tom Porter; and project administrator, Gina Ferentini. The project was designed by Baker Barrios Architects.
